Wells Fargo Mortgage Review
Wells Fargo is the Nation's #1 originator (for 2002) and
#2 servicer of residential mortgages. Combined, their retail
and wholesale lending operations fund about one of every eight
homes financed annually in the United States.
Wells Fargo is a diversified financial services company
— providing banking, insurance, investments, mortgage
and consumer finance from 5,900+ stores, the internet and
other distribution channels across North America and elsewhere
internationally.
We had great experiences with our own mortgages in the past
and we were inclined to give a very favorable review of them.
However, circumstances have changed our minds (see below).
We would provide a link here to their site, but Wells Fargo's
lawyers have undertaken some shady business practices against
one of our partner sites and we will not favorably promote
any companies that choose to use shady practices. At any rate,
